The Sommelier Advice:
Vin de pays des Coteaux du Libron
Muscat has always been grown in Languedoc, mostly for sweet wines. Around the domaine, there are two areas well known for their potential to grow such grapes, Maraussan and Corneilhan. The earth is relatively dry and stony, this is where Muscat is one of the rare grapes, with Grenache, to be able to grow.
Pale yellow colour with beautiful green reflections, a muscat nose and notes of citrus. Mouthfeel is lively and whole, with a good acidity.
Drink young (3 years maximum), it goes very well with green vegetables (asparagus, peas, green beans, courgette) as well as salads and sea food.
